Bath-type Molten Aluminum Holding Furnace


 Usage

  Mainly used for heat preservation of molten aluminum in die-casting and gravity casting process

  Equipment features

  The bath is casted with molten aluminum-proof and high-intensity castables (Allied Mineral and Calderys, etc.) to effectively prevent molten aluminum from leaking or sticking and to slow down the generation of corundum tumor.

  Non-metal bath, molten aluminum without iron hyperplasia and other pollution.

  The bath service life is over 3 years.

  Nano insulating boards are used for the insulation layer to keep less heat in the furnace body with the surface temperature rise of less than 25℃.

  Molten aluminum thermocouple protective tubes use silicon nitride protective tubes with good thermal conductivity, erosion resistance in molten aluminum, thermal shock resistance and high intensity.

  The furnace cover has rotary lifting cylinder for easy clearing of bath, deslagging, and maintenance of furnace cover and electric heating components.

  An emptying outlet may, according to the requirements of customers, be set on the holding furnace to manually empty the aluminum liquid in the bath.

Aluminum Melting and Holding Crucible Furnace

  usage

  Used for melting and holding of aluminum alloy. Suitable for such process as metal casting, pouring, degassing and slag before die forging of liquid, preparing alloy, homogeneous structure, and adjusting temperature.

  Equipment features:

  Molten aluminum of high quality (accurate temperature and uniform ingredients) can be obtained for the need of premium castings.

  Flexible production organization and easy installation and commissioning. In producing different kinds of alloy, change of crucible may achieve that goal without polluting molten aluminum. It can be directly placed on the ground. Operation begins as soon as power is connected.

  Less burning loss. Due to the isolation between the molten metal and heating components, crucible heating is used to avoid local high temperature, reducing the oxidation loss and high temperature volatilization of noble alloy elements. The metal loss is below 1.2%.

  The furnace body has leakage opening. Once the crucible breaks, the molten aluminum may flow outside the furnace.

  The temperature control of furnace roof and molten aluminum adopts loop series to guarantee sufficient heating efficiency and prevent furnace roof from overheating.

  Molten aluminum thermocouple protective tubes use silicon nitride protective tubes of Kyocera and Hitachi brands with good thermal conductivity, erosion resistance in molten aluminum, thermal shock resistance and high intensity. The tubes can be directly dipped in molten aluminum to measure its temperature and their service life exceeds two years.

  Complete alarm protection. The alarm includes molten aluminum temperature alarm, furnace roof temperature alarm, and crucible leakage alarm. Power will be cut off when alarm works to protect the heating components and furnace roof.

  Immersion heating bath-type holding furnace is a new generation of energy-saving and environment friendly holding furnace developed and produced by our company. This furnace is equipped with ceramic heater which is immersed in molten aluminum for direct heating. It has advantages that the conventional furnaces do not have: small power consumption and remarkable energy-saving effect; quick heating of molten aluminum; less suction, uniform temperature and less oxidation of molten aluminum to ensure high quality for a long time.

  Equipment features

  The heater protection tubes are silicon nitride tubes imported from Hitachi Metals, Kyocera companies. This kind of protection tube is characterized by heat and cold resistance, high temperature strength, and high heat conductivity. The service life is over three years.

  For electric heating components, high temperature resistance wires (bands) manufactured by Kanthal are adopted. These components have large allowable surface load, can provide greater power and have long life service.

  The unique elastic pressing sealing technology is used in the heating protection tubes and furnace body to ensure no leakage of molten aluminum even under 0.25MPa high pressure.

  The heating components can be replaced without stopping the furnace. Once the heating components fail, they can be replaced without affecting the sealing of protection tubes and the furnace body to achieve non-stop furnace maintenance.

Usage

  Dosing holding furnace adopts the technology of supplying aluminum through gas pressure in collaboration with expert dosing calculation program, achieving dosing supply of aluminum and high-efficient production. This furnace is a new holding furnace developed on the basis of our company’s producing low pressure holding furnace and automatic pressurizing system and integrating the “dosing control technology”, an autonomously developed technology. This furnace is used for heat preservation of molten aluminum and dosing supply of aluminum in the process of aluminum gravity casting.

Equipment features

Product details:

  mmersion heating three-chamber low pressure casting holding furnace adopts ceramic heater which is immersed in the molten aluminum for direct heating. The furnace has three baths with different functions: insulation, compression, and mold filling. The three different baths are connected at the bottom through channels. On the channel between the insulating chamber and compression chamber there is a valve through which shut-off or connection is completed.

  Equipment features

  Casting is done while aluminum is added to achieve continuous production and increased casting efficiency.
